Skills:
EXPERIENCE:
• Have 10 to 15 years experience in food manufacturing and
5 years in food production.
• Has worked in an environment requiring strict food and
personnel safety
• Is knowledgeable in developing, following and
maintaining production systems and procedures. Must also have the ability to
use statistical analysis to track the performance of such systems
• Have knowledge in ingredient function
• Have experience in working with budgets as they pertain
to the manufacturing segment of the business.
• Have experience with computers and programs,
particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power-Point) and
QuickBooks
Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish language helpful, but not
necessary.

Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are a growing, fast-paced manufacturing organization, specializing in a
full line of Italian desserts. We are looking for an experienced individual
to manage the daily operations of our small, but growing company. This person
will be responsible for all phases of the company’s chain supply management
including; purchasing, inventory, production, warehousing, shipping,
facilities and equipment maintenance and sanitation.
Performance evaluation and compensation will be based primarily
on the Plant Manager’s ability to:
• Fulfill production and shipping requirements
• Produce products to meet specifications and quality standards
• Perform on time delivery of purchase orders
• Grow a staff that can handle the growth that the company is experiencing
• Adhere and maintain to the budget and all company policies and guidelines
in the process of accomplishing these goals.
This individual would also have full authority of the production
floor and would report directly to the President of the company.
EDUCATION:
• Have a minimum of a high school diploma. A college degree is preferred but
not necessary.
