Corporate Training and Development Director

 

 

 

Job Description

This Company seeks a dedicated Training & Development Director to create organizational excellence by identifying, developing, and retaining top quality employees. This will be accomplished by ensuring that the Company develops our employees at all levels based on our Values and Guiding Behaviors in training, recruitment, and employee development strategies throughout the organization. You will collaborate with all department heads to assess need, develop, and implement training programs focused on culture change and employee development; develop and source training for all departments throughout the organization; and develop and implement learning initiatives. You will also work with other members of the HR Department to enhance the performance management process; coach managers to provide methods of feedback in order to develop, engage and retain employees; and identify developmental opportunities as requested in the performance evaluation process.

Required Qualifications

·                     Proven abilities in the performance management area

·                     Passion for learning and creativity

·                     Effective communication skills, both written and oral at all   levels of the organization

·                     Effective teaching ability and presentation skills

·                     Demonstrated knowledge and "hands-on" experience managing Continuous Improvement Initiatives

·                     Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities

·                     Undergraduate degree in Organizational Development, Business or related discipline, Masters level degree preferred

·                     Effective organizational skills and the ability to deliver positive results at all levels

·                     Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coach and counsel

·                     Approachable and trustworthy, serves as an example to others
